Pitch Black is a startup competition offering significant venture capital investments, mentorship, and various business services to winners. It targets early-stage startups in various tech sectors, providing a platform to gain visibility, receive feedback, and network within Malta's startup ecosystem. The competition includes categories for pre-seed and seed companies, with substantial prize packages and additional benefits such as legal services, marketing support, and recruitment services.
Who can apply?
Pre-Seed Companies
Companies who have raised less than or equal to €300,000 and have been established for not more than five years.
Seed Companies
Companies who have raised more than €300,000 and have been established for not more than seven years.
Timeline
- 22 October: Semi-final round with 14 companies pitching their ideas (7 pitches per category - pre-seed and seed).
- 24 October: Final round with 8 pitches (4 pitches per category).
