The Hello Tomorrow Challenge is a world-renowned, early-stage, deep tech startup competition. It offers exclusive connections with top investors, partners, and clients, global recognition as a Deep Tech Pioneer, and €100K equity-free funding. The competition also features an Emerging Pioneers Prize for startups just getting started. The competition is open to startups in the early-stage of development or the beginning of their commercialization phase, based on a new technology, addressing unmet needs, composed of a team of at least 2 people, and not a subsidiary or spin-off of an existing company.

Who can apply?

  • Early-Stage Development

    Startups should be in the early-stage of development or the beginning of their commercialization phase (up to series A).

  • Technology-Based

    Based on a new technology, a scientific discovery, or a complex engineering process.

  • Addressing Unmet Needs

    Addressing an industrial, societal, or environmental unmet need or creating a new market.

  • Team Composition

    Composed of a team of at least 2 people.

  • Independence

    Not a subsidiary or spin-off of an existing company.

  • 15 September: Applications open

  • January 2026: Deep Tech Pioneers Selected
  • March 2026: Finalists Announced
