Depozen

Depozen aims to simplify housing access for tenants by offering an alternative to the security deposit (commonly known as "la caution"). Upon moving in, tenants often face paying the first month's rent, a security deposit up to two months' rent, moving costs, furnishing, and more. Depozen addresses the main issue causing nearly 2/3 of disputes between landlords and tenants: the security deposit. They have developed an alternative, a deposit insurance subscribed by the tenant, which is free for the landlord or property manager. This product better protects the landlord, saves valuable time for the manager, all without imposing a significant financial burden on the tenant.
