FluoRok

FluoRok is reinventing fluorination by developing cutting-edge chemical processes for a better world. They aim to provide cleaner, safer, and less expensive access to fluorochemicals, which are fundamental to daily lives (e.g., Li-ion battery electrolytes, agrochemicals, marketed drugs), by developing new disruptive fluorinating technologies that are safe, efficient, and sustainable. Their patented technology allows them to produce fluorochemicals by completely bypassing the production of toxic and highly dangerous hydrofluoric acid (HF). FluoRok is a spin-out of the University of Oxford.
