Climate change is the biggest challenge of our time. Working to protect the climate and preserve a planet for future generations drives us at Nosh. The meat industry drives climate change, with the food industry responsible for 30% of greenhouse gas emissions and 80% of global deforestation. Animal-free products can reduce emissions by 50% and land use by 75%. However, many current solutions have unpleasant textures, lack flavor, have long ingredient lists filled with additives, are low in nutritional value, and are too expensive for the average household. We leverage natural fermentation to create affordable, nutritious and tasty solutions from non-GMO fungi. Its versatility allows for creating the first single-ingredient meat and seafood analogues and enhancing existing product functionality across convenience, confectionary, dairy, bakery, pet food, health & wellness applications.
