qCella AG

qCella is a B2B material hardware spin-off from ETH Zurich that is (re)shaping product heating. They impregnate natural fibers with copper and use them to develop heating mats with superior properties compared to commercially available heating wires. These mats are thin, smooth, and can be cut into any shape and size, allowing for more energy-efficient heating by eliminating the need for a heat-losing upholstery layer. qCella aims to help customers save energy by heating products precisely where needed, with applications ranging from heated shoe insoles to heated airplane seats.
