TheraSonic

TheraSonic is a medtech startup dedicated to revolutionizing the treatment of neurological diseases, with a focus on brain cancers. We leverage the effect of non-invasive focused-ultrasound on intravenously injected gas microbubbles to safely and temporarily disrupt the blood-brain barrier, enhancing drug delivery. To offer transformative treatments for brain metastasis and neurodegenerative diseases, we are developing a medical robot enabling repeated targeting of multiple areas and large volumes within the brain. We are raising a € 5M seed round at the end of 2025 to support our first-in-human clinical trial and the development of our medical device. TheraSonic is set to make a significant impact on the future of neurological care, offering hope and improved outcomes for patients worldwide.
