VitalSigns

VitalSigns, a medtech startup from Aalto University, Helsinki, was founded by a medical doctor, an engineer, and a business manager. Stemming from a three-year research project at Aalto University, it addresses a critical need identified through a Biodesign project at Helsinki University Hospital. Innovation VitalSigns transforms the stethoscope into a multipurpose diagnostic tool, incorporating sensors for multiple biosignals and AI for analysis. VitalSigns cuts examination time significantly, boosts diagnostic accuracy, and optimizes healthcare resource utilization. With longitudinal data, VitalSigns anticipates early identification of health issues before they escalate.
