Internship Offer - Optical Engineer
Job description
•AeroDIODE is an innovative SME specialized in laser technology for demanding applications (quantum technologies, scientific research, etc.). We are looking for an Optical Engineer Intern (M/F) for a duration of 4 to 6 months.
Missions:
Participate in the development of pulsed laser diode systems and fiber optic components.
- Bibliographic research and definition of test plans.
- Experimental characterization of components and systems.
- Automation of test benches (LabVIEW, Python).
- Data analysis and synthesis report writing.
**Location:** Institut d'Optique d'Aquitaine, Rue François Mitterrand, 33400 Talence / Pessac.
**Duration:** 4 to 6 months.
**Compensation:** Legal allowances.
Preferred experiences
•Student in the final year of engineering school or Master 2 (Bac+4 / Bac+5) with a specialization in Optics/Photonics.
- Strong knowledge of optics, lasers, and fiber optics.
- Knowledge of electronics is a plus.
- Proficiency in programming (Python or LabVIEW).
- Rigorous, autonomous, and good interpersonal skills.
- Good level of English (read, written, spoken).
