Scientist/Senior Scientist, Medicinal Chemistry

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Scientist or Senior Scientist to join our Medicinal Chemistry team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, synthesis, and optimization of small molecules for our drug discovery programs targeting autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. Key responsibilities include developing structure-activity relationships (SAR), contributing to hit-to-lead and lead optimization efforts, managing external chemistry resources (CROs) if applicable, and collaborating closely with biologists, pharmacologists, and DMPK scientists. This role requires a strong background in synthetic organic chemistry and medicinal chemistry principles. Requirements include a PhD in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry with relevant industry experience. Title and compensation will be commensurate with experience.

PhD in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry. Postdoctoral or industry experience (typically 2+ years for Scientist, 5+ years for Senior Scientist) in medicinal chemistry within a drug discovery setting. Proven track record of contributing to the progression of drug discovery projects. Strong expertise in multi-step synthesis, purification, and characterization of organic compounds. Excellent understanding of medicinal chemistry principles, SAR, and ADMET properties.
