We are seeking passionate individuals to join our blog as contributors. This role is part-time and can easily be managed alongside a full-time job with some organization. It is an ideal position for young graduates, final-year students looking to connect with the local tech scene, entrepreneurs eager to expand their network through our media, or young journalists aiming to develop their personal brand.

Your mission will include writing articles on startups, fundraising, the local tech ecosystem, venture capital, and Tech events. You must have an excellent command of English and strong writing skills. Additionally, communication skills are essential as the role involves conducting interviews and attending events.

Preferred experiences

•

Education: Final-year student, recent graduate, or relevant experience in journalism, communications, or a related field.
Writing Skills: Demonstrable experience in writing articles, blogs, or reports. Exceptional command of the English language is essential.
Tech Savvy: Interest or experience in the tech industry, particularly in startups and venture capital.
Networking: Strong networking abilities and a desire to build connections within the tech community.
Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills for conducting interviews and representing our blog at events.
Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively to balance this role with other commitments.

Interview process

Initial Call (1 hour): A conversation to understand your motivations for becoming a contributor and discuss your relevant experience and interests.
Writing Test: A short writing essay to evaluate your English proficiency and writing skills.
