BC materials addresses the challenge of managing the 22.5 million tonnes of earth excavated annually in Brussels and Flanders. Instead of treating non-polluted earth as waste (60% currently dumped), BC materials manufactures it locally into sustainable building products: Kastar (clay plasters), Brusseleir (compressed earth blocks), and Brickette (compressed earth blocks), alongside rammed earth solutions. These products are CO2-neutral, contribute to healthy indoor climates, and are infinitely circular, capable of being returned to the earth or remanufactured. The company offers manufacturing in the Brussels Region and on-site production services across Belgium to minimize transport and stay close to resource extraction points.
