Role Overview: As the co-founder CTO, you will be a pivotal part of our leadership team, responsible for driving the technical vision and execution of our platform. You will manage a small but talented team of three developers and one designer, ensuring alignment with our CPO's strategic goals.

Main challenge:

One of the main challenges is to serve four types of clients/personas with very different needs while interconnecting them through different features; using a graph database to have a social network approach is also one of our main challenges at the moment to understand the connection between ecosystem players.

An other challenge will be the data part at scale, as we use a mix of user-generated data, scrapped data, and private data - generating a lot of data/insight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and deployment of our media and SaaS platform.
• Oversee and mentor a team of developers and product designers.
• Collaborate closely with the CPO to align technology with business goals.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.
• Implement best coding, testing, and deployment practices - unit testing, end-to-end testing, CI/CD.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends to keep our platform competitive.
• Play a key role in strategic planning and decision-making processes.

Tech stack:

• NextJS/Vercel/MongoDB/NodeJS/Prisma/Typescript.

• Degree from a Tier 1 engineering school in Europe.
• Proven track record as a CTO or in a tech lead position for at least 4 years.
• Extensive experience in full-stack development and deployment.
• Strong team management skills, with experience overseeing developers and designers.
• Familiarity with building and scaling SaaS platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking.
• Experience working in an international environment and a full professional proficiency in English.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and best practices - we ship weekly.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the CPO and other stakeholders.
• Knowledge of the startup ecosystem is a plus.
• SEO Knowledge is a plus.

  • A hands-on coding test focusing on full-stack development skills.
  • Problem-solving tasks to evaluate your technical proficiency and approach to challenges.
  • In-depth discussion with our senior developers and existing tech leads.
  • Questions covering system design, architecture, and scalability.

• Leadership and Management Interview (1 hour):

  • Interview with our CPO and current tech team to assess leadership style, team management skills, and alignment with our strategic goals.
  • Scenario-based questions to evaluate your decision-making process in leadership roles.
