Business Development Representative
Job description
•Digital Riders is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Sales team in Lisbon. You will be at the forefront of our sales process, responsible for researching potential clients, identifying key decision-makers, generating qualified leads, and setting up meetings for the Account Managers.
What you'll do:
- Research and identify potential clients and market segments.
- Generate new leads through various channels (e.g., cold calling, email campaigns, social outreach, networking).
- Qualify leads based on defined criteria.
- Understand customer needs and requirements.
- Schedule meetings and calls between prospective clients and Account Managers.
- Maintain and update records in the CRM system (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Collaborate with the marketing team on lead generation campaigns.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly quotas for qualified opportunities.
Preferred experiences
•What you bring:
- Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role is a plus, but entry-level candidates with the right attitude are welcome.
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls) is desirable.
- Track record of achieving sales quotas (if applicable).
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
- Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts).
- Understanding of sales performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations.
- High energy, motivated, and results-driven.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent.
