Digital Riders seeks a passionate Web Developer to join our team in Lisbon. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality websites and web applications, focusing on creating excellent user experiences. You'll collaborate closely with designers and backend engineers to bring concepts to life.

What you'll do:

- Develop new user-facing features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.

- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders (designers, backend developers, product managers).

- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and implement them into operations and activities.

- Troubleshoot and debug applications.

- Write functional requirement documents and guides.

What you bring:

- Proven working experience in web programming.

- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.

- Strong understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery and modern frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.

- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.

- Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.

- Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.

- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

- Familiarity with code versioning tools, such as Git.

- Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them.

- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
