You will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of our systems supporting cutting-edge robotics development with hardware acceleration. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software development (including ROS/ROS 2) and hardware (FPGA/GPU) workflows. Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and on-premise resources. Implement and manage containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management (e.g., Ansible, Terraform), and monitoring. Collaborate with software and hardware engineers to optimize development workflows and toolchains. Ensure system security, performance, and availability. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues. Location: Vitoria-Gasteiz, Basque Country (Spain) - Hybrid work.
Preferred experiences
•Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role. Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions). Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). Experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Strong understanding of Linux systems administration. Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting ROS/ROS 2 development environments. Experience with build systems for C++ (CMake) and hardware (Makefiles, etc.). Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). Knowledge of network configuration and security best practices. Experience managing build infrastructure for FPGA/GPU development.

Acceleration Robotics
Acceleration Robotics focuses on designing custom semiconductor building blocks, specifically FPGAs (Field-Programmable Gate Arrays) and SoCs (Systems-on-Chip), to accelerate robot computations. They create customized 'brains' for robots, aiming to significantly reduce response times and enable high-performance robotic systems. Their solutions involve hardware acceleration techniques tailored for robotics applications, particularly targeting the acceleration of ROS (Robot Operating System) computations and DDS network stacks, moving beyond traditional CPU-based approaches.
