Internship - DevOps Engineer
Job description
•This paid internship offers hands-on experience in DevOps practices within a high-tech robotics environment. You will learn how to build, automate, and manage the infrastructure supporting our software and hardware engineers. Responsibilities may include: Assisting in maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines. Supporting cloud infrastructure management tasks. Helping automate development and deployment processes. Learning about containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Assisting with monitoring and troubleshooting tasks. Location: Vitoria-Gasteiz, Basque Country (Spain) - Hybrid work.
Preferred experiences
•Qualifications: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Basic understanding of Linux/Unix systems. Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash). Interest in automation, CI/CD, and cloud technologies. Eagerness to learn DevOps tools and practices. Problem-solving aptitude and collaborative spirit.
Acceleration Robotics
Acceleration Robotics focuses on designing custom semiconductor building blocks, specifically FPGAs (Field-Programmable Gate Arrays) and SoCs (Systems-on-Chip), to accelerate robot computations. They create customized 'brains' for robots, aiming to significantly reduce response times and enable high-performance robotic systems. Their solutions involve hardware acceleration techniques tailored for robotics applications, particularly targeting the acceleration of ROS (Robot Operating System) computations and DDS network stacks, moving beyond traditional CPU-based approaches.
